Terms and conditions

OsloWay wishes to make travellers aware of the rights and obligations that apply between OsloWay and travellers. This is done through these terms and conditions, which travellers should read carefully.

1. Travellers from other countries than Norway

Travellers from countries other than Norway should bear in mind that other rules may apply besides those applicable to Norwegian travellers, and must, therefore, themselves find out which rules apply for the trip concerned. OsloWay emphasises in particular that travellers must themselves address any relevant conditions such as passport validity, visas, vaccinations, and any insurance that is required.

2. Scope of conditions

The conditions apply to excursions booked and paid for via the Internet. Separate conditions apply to persons travelling as part of a group. For agents, own conditions are regulated in the agent's agreement with us. Sales via the Internet close at 20:00 on the day prior to departure.

Please notice that tourist information and our customer centre do sell tickets until departure. If there are exceptions, such information is given at the actual product page.

3. The travel document

The travel document you receive when you make the booking serves as your ticket for the excursion and you must carry this with you throughout the excursion for verification purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that you have your travel documents with you and for checking that the ticket corresponds to your booking.

4. Change of price

OsloWay reserves the right to alter prices and accepts no liability with respect to printing errors in the text, images and links on our website. We reserve the right to make changes as necessary after any catalogues or brochures have been printed, such as changes to prices and terms and conditions, changes to the excursion route as a result of unforeseen circumstances and inaccurate information due to printing errors, etc. Changes resulting from the aforementioned circumstances will be announced via enclosures/offprints and/or other

appropriate communication channels.

5. Complaints

Any complaints regarding deficiencies in connection with the excursion must be submitted as soon as possible

by sending an email to info@osloway.no. Customers shall lose the right to cite any deficiency if this is not done. Complaints must generally be submitted no more than 3 days after the excursion. It is emphasized that any comments made on questionnaire forms that are submitted will not be recorded or interpreted as a written complaint.

6. Ticket refunds

In accordance with our terms and conditions, ticket refunds for individual travelers shall not be paid. The booking is binding after the excursion has been confirmed and paid for. The person making the booking will be invoiced for the price of travel in the case of excursions where there is an option to pay on-board the bus/boat and the traveler does not turn up. We recommend that travelers take out travel insurance with cancellation cover, and that travelers contact their insurance company in the event of cancellation due to illness. The insurance company will be responsible for paying any refund due in cases where this is applicable.

7. Cancellation policy

OsloWay may cancel a trip in the case of unforeseen circumstances over which we have no control, such as rough weather conditions, natural disasters, industrial disputes, union strikes etc. that render it difficult or inadvisable to proceed with the excursion (force majeure). Customers shall not be entitled to any refund in the event of cancellation due to force majeure. In the case that a trip has already started, but has to be cancelled due to force majeure, we will not provide any refund.

8. Unpredicted price changes

OsloWay reserves the right to alter prices as a result of new or increased taxes and charges, exchange rate fluctuations or similar circumstances over which OsloWay has no control or could not have foreseen. Price changes shall not be made later than 14 days prior to departure. Price increases of more than 10% of the agreed purchase price shall entitle a customer to cancel the agreement at no cost to himself.
