World's Largest Indoor Ski Arena in Oslo


Norway's new year-round indoor arena for ski and snow experiences has opened. It is called SNØ and the resort becomes home to a variety of year-round facilities, including downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding and free-ski terrain park, equipment rental, hotels, restaurants and other recreational activities.


SNØ opened its doors to the public on 15th January with snow-covered area up to 40.000 sqm


ALPINE: skiing facilities include a 3 + beginners area with the longest 500 meter long and 100 meter wide slope. Steepest part (racing): 22 degrees, 4-seated chairlift, a cup-lift and a Magic Carpet transport skier back to the top of the slope.


SNOWPARK: rails, boxes, jumps and a big jump.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING: a different kind of trail, suspended from the roof and starting out on the mesanin hanging 20 metres above ground and finishes at the lower end of the downhill slope. The trail winds around in a slightly hilly track with a good variation to suit both advanced skiers and beginners.
